After you login, press on the Settings button on the bottom of the iPad Point of Sale main screen, and select the desirec Payment Gateway option, and enter your Payment Gateway account username and password. Then, select the credit card reader that you want to use with your iPad Point of Sale from the list of available options (like IDTECH Shuttle and IPS Encrypted Card ReaderOK button to close the settings dialog, and you are ready to process credit-card and e-check payments directly from the iPad Point of Sale app .

IMPORTANT: When powering on the IDTECH Shuttle credit card reader on the credit card payment screen, in order to provide enough power for the card reader to read and encrypt card data, the iPad audio volume will be set to maximum, and a high frequency tone will be send to the audio jack. This tone can be very painful to a listener if they have connected speakers or headphones.
